Title I, Part A Program

The Title I, Part A program helps students in high poverty schools meet the same high academic standards expected of all children. Title I, Part A funding is distributed to districts primarily based on poverty as determined by the US Census Bureau. Title I, Part A funds are used to address specific education needs of students as described in the school's Educational Plan for Student Success (EPSS). For school year 2016-2017, Santa Fe Public Schools has twenty-two schools in a school-wide Title I program, four schools, including one charter school, in a targeted Title I program, one neglected children site, and one participating private nonprofit (PNP) school.

Title I, Part D Program

The Title I, Part D program improves educational services for children and youth in local and State institutions for neglected or delinquent children and youth so that they have the opportunity to meet the same high academic standards all children in the State are expected to meet. For the current year, Santa Fe Public Schools provides Title I, Part D funds to the Santa Fe County Juvenile Detention Center. Title II, Part A Program.
