Our 2025-2026 walk to school day was a success!

Great news from SFPS! 📚 Student reading proficiency grew to 42%, continuing our upward trend, while math proficiency held steady at 22% for 2024–25.

This progress is a direct result of our incredible teachers, school leaders, and students working together toward excellence. 💪

Pinon Walk to School Day is a celebration of our community. Join some amazing Pinon teachers and staff as we walk to school together. We will meet at Governor Miles Park at 7:15. We will walk to school together in waves. Parents are welcome to walk with us. We have to walk over some bumpy terrain that is too hard for wheels; plan accordingly.

Dear Pinon Families, Happy Wednesday! Here is this week's digital only Wednesday Packet! Attached you will find the PES Newsletter. Please take a moment to look it over. Here are a couple of important reminders: 1. Friday, October 10th & Monday October, 13th is Fall Break. There will be NO SCHOOL on those days. 2. This Friday October 3rd is Popcorn Friday! We appreciate the help of our popcorn delivery volunteers greatly!! For the safety of all and to make popcorn delivery as smooth as possible, we kindly ask that you not bring any young children with you during this time. Thanks so much for your cooperation with this.
