The City of Santa Fe Presents it's Summer Reading Program! Don't miss out!
Registration Opens May 25 - Please see the attached flyer for more information!
The Santa Fe Public Library is excited to invite toddlers, children, and youth up to 17 years of age to participate in “All Together Now,” their 2023 Summer Reading Program! Registration opens on Thursday, May 25, and the program will run through June and July.
Children may read independently or be read to by adults and older children. Reading library books, personal books, e-books, and listening to audiobooks all count toward earning prizes. Reading minutes can be tracked by hand or via the Library’s Beanstack portal, which allows participants to log minutes and earn digital badges throughout the program.
The Library will hold a variety of programs and events related to Summer Reading over the upcoming months. Visit the Library’s website or any Library location to learn more and sign up when registration opens!
All Together Now is sponsored by the Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library and the New Mexico State Library.

Who knew there was a Zoo in Santa Fe?
Introducing the Sunflower Zoo at Pinon Elementary!
What an amazing adventure our 3rd-grade students had! They dove into research, visited the Biopark Zoo in Albuquerque, and let their creativity soar by making animal masks on paper plates.
Today was the big day when all the Pinon Elementary students came together to explore the Sunflower Zoo! They took on the roles of dedicated zookeepers and had the incredible opportunity to "feed the animals" who in turn gave facts they had found during their research about their incredible creature.
With awe and excitement, our young explorers discovered the wonders of the animal kingdom. From the graceful giraffes to the playful penguins, every creature left an indelible mark on their hearts!
Great job, Eagles!

Multiple school districts throughout the state have received social media threats against schools. SFPS and SFPD are taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety at our schools. The City of Santa Fe and SFPD are working directly with the FBI on the threat, which appears to be a hoax. There is no immediate threat towards any SFPS school.
