School will resume two hours after your normal start time today. Please ensure your student(s) are not dropped off before the delayed start as staff will not be on campus.
Out of an abundance of caution, due to snow and icy road conditions and freezing temperatures developing overnight in several parts of the district, Santa Fe Public Schools will start Friday, December 1st on a two-hour delay. We will continue to assess road conditions and update with any changes by 7 AM.
Due to worsening road conditions across the District that would prohibit the safe transportation of students to school, all schools will be closed. This is not a remote learning day. All after-school and evening activities are canceled.
Due to snow and unsafe driving conditions in some parts of the district, all schools will be on a 2-hour delay today, November 30th, 2023, to provide additional time for buses to safely transport students to schools. This means that buses will run 2 hours later than during normal times. If you drop your child off at school, please remember that staff will also be on a two-hour delay. Full-day Pre-K programs are also on a two-hour delay. Morning Pre-K programs have been canceled. Afternoon Pre-K programs will operate on a regular schedule.

Pinon Elementary showed off its new Buddy Bench this morning!
A buddy bench is a way for students can sit if they are feeling lonely or are in need of a friend. If you see someone another student sitting on the bench, other students are encouraged to approach and invite the student to join them!
The buddy bench helps students combat feelings of isolation, promote kindness and encourage children to be inclusive and empathetic towards their peers!
Great job, Eagles!
